Blissful Moments

DSC_0158_2BLISSFUL by Kim

Last weekend we had the wonderful opportunity to meet our friends in Cabo San Lucas to celebrate my close friend, Pauline’s Birthday.

The view and atmosphere brought me into a state of bliss. Hanging with our good friends with a drink in hand and enjoying a fun weekend is priceless.

PS: Thanks to Bob for putting the trip and excursions together –  so grateful.

Photo Friday Theme – Perspective by Kim

After a morning flight, I picked up my rental car and headed straight for the beach. A beautiful morning stroll on Hollywood Beach gave me the right perspective for my adventures ahead and fun perspective through the windows along the beach.

Photo Friday Theme – Early Morning

My favorite time is to be the first up in the morning, put on the coffee and walk outside with my camera.

Those peaceful moments of Gods beauty in nature as a new day dawns, inspire me and a perfect place for photography.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Phillippians 4:6-7

Just Another Day in Paradise

We had a week to vacation with the girls in May when college ended and before the summer plans began. While staying on Summerland Key, we took a few trips to Bahia Honda Park for their beautiful beaches and snorkeling.

Henry Flagler’s railroad to Key West turned the remote island of Bahia Honda Key into a tropical destination. Today, the island is home to one of Florida’s southernmost state parks! Just a little slice of sun, fun and paradise. –Kim

I am not a beach person. Every spring break the kids drag me there a few times that week. I just wanted to read and enjoy the sunshine and my coffee. (My kids are teenagers so I don’t have to worry too much about them while at the beach.) I grabbed the camera as a last-minute thing while running out the door. I am glad I did. I have seen many seagulls but never a family with little ones. I spent most of the day with camera in hand and book in the beach bag. – Diane
